Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri congratulates Muslims on sighting of the Rabi-ul-Awwal moon

In his statement on the sighting of Rabi-ul-Awwal moon, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) eliminated the darkness of atheism and infidelity and put an end to slavery. The holy Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) birth is the greatest blessing of Allah Almighty on the mankind. The downtrodden sections of society such as the orphans, the poor and destitute, the women, the elderly and the children got rights with the birth of our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He congratulated the Muslim world on the start of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri asked the people particularly the youth to dedicatedly study the life of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during this month in an attempt to mould their lives in line with the teachings of peace and love espoused by their Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He prayed to Allah Almighty to make Pakistan hub of peace and tranquility as a result of this exalted month and foster unity in the ranks of the Muslim community around the world.

Meanwhile, the MQI Secretariat was decorated to befittingly mark the festivities of Rabi-ul-Awwal with electric lamps exuding multiple lights. With the announcement of the sighting of the moon, the secretariat reverberated with passionate slogans, welcoming the blessed month. Gosha-e-Durood and the residence of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri was also decorated with electric lights.

Director Administration of the MQI, Jawad Hamid, stated that the arrival of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal is a great news that has made the faithful happy. He said that on the directions of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Milad feast has been arranged from the 1st to the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal at the central secretariat.
