Youth are the real asset of Pakistan and Islam: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

MQI founding leader and patron-in-chief Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said the youth are the real asset and wealth of Pakistan and Islam. He underlined the need of investment in the future of the youth to make Pakistan a prosperous and respectable country. He said he was convinced that the investment to be done on the empowerment of the youth will not go in vain. He said this precious human resource was neglected in the past with the result that Pakistan got bogged down in the abyss of problems. He said MQI worked hard on imparting education and spiritual training to the youth.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri made these remarks in his special message on the occasion of the completion of 25 years since the establishment of MSM. He said when MSM was being founded 25 years ago, his standing order was that the students would never let go of the pen and if any student tried to take gun in his hands at the place of a book under the external influence, he would have nothing to do with him or MQI for that matter. He said it was his instruction that the MSM workers would never let go of patience, tolerance and respect of law no matter how difficult the circumstances in the struggle of promoting peace and knowledge. He said he is proud of his MSM workers that their conduct off and on the campuses has been exemplary and he as head of MQI did not receive any complaint.

Dr Qadri said that it is his prayer that the MSM workers continue to keep the flag of peace, love and knowledge afloat. He also congratulated the current and past leadership of MSM on the occasion of the silver jubilee and said he was proud of all of them.

Central MQI leaders Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Brig. (r ) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, PAT central President Qazi Zahid Hussain, Noorullah Siddiqui also extended their warmest congratulations to MSM leadership and workers on the completion of 25 years.

In his congratulatory message, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said the students have been at the forefront of the struggle for justice, peace, harmony and the promotion of knowledge. Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said whether it is about changing the system or promoting the culture of knowledge, the MSM students have never been found wanting in their efforts and resolve.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said in his felicitation message that the students associated with MSM revived the dying tradition of book reading in the educational institutions. Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan said the MSM students are the future of Pakistan. He said Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri educated the youth on how to love Pakistan and Islam. Qazi Zahid Hussain said that MSM was seen at the forefront of the campaign to rid the educational institutions of drugs, weapons and extremism. Noorullah Siddiqui said we are proud of our students who are filled with the love of Pakistan and Islam. He said the students equipped with the ideological thought of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri are our asset.
