The atmosphere resonated with chants of “Aamad-e-Mustafa ﷺ, Marhaba Marhaba” as young torch-bearing children took part in the event.
Hundreds of children between the ages of 5 and 15 participated in the candlelight walk.
The children delivered speeches and recited Naats on the Seerah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, Milad al-Nabi ﷺ, and love for the Messenger ﷺ.
The Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League’s Eagers Forum organized a candlelight walk from the Central Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International to Al-Qadriya House, followed by a spiritual gathering and reception to celebrate Milad al-Nabi ﷺ.
Children between the ages of 5 and 15 participated enthusiastically in the candlelight walk. Carrying illuminated torches and candles, the young participants filled the atmosphere with the joyful chants of “Aamad-e-Mustafa ﷺ, Marhaba Marhaba.” Before the walk began, the children released colorful balloons into the sky. They also shared chocolates and sweets with one another and members of the staff to celebrate the arrival of Rabi’ al-Awwal.
At the conclusion of the candlelight walk, a spiritually uplifting Milad al-Nabi ﷺ gathering was held at Al-Qadriya House. The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by young Qariah Muna Tariq, followed by a collective Hamd-e-Bari Ta‘ala presented by the children of Eagers Forum.
Jannat, Afifa Shakeel, Anam Fatima, Syed Hamad Rasool, and Hibba Qasim presented Naats in praise of the Beloved Messenger ﷺ. Muhammad Hasnain Farooq touched the hearts of the audience with a poetic rendition of Naatiya verses, inspiring a deeper love and devotion for the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
Students of the Tahfeez-ul-Quran Institute also presented a collective recitation of the Holy Quran and Arabic Naats. The children of Eagers Forum performed collective Naats in different groups. Group 1 comprised Seerat, Anisa, and Fizza; Group 2 included Maryam Anam and Noor; while Group 3 consisted of Manahil, Maryam, and Muna. Aiman Farooq served as the compère for the program.
The children of Eagers Forum also delivered speeches on the Seerah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ and the significance of Milad al-Nabi ﷺ. Mishal, Falak, Ayesha, and Abdul Hadi expressed their views, saying that commemorating Milad al-Nabi ﷺ is an expression of gratitude for the great blessing bestowed upon the Muslim Ummah by Allah Almighty in the person of the Holy Messenger ﷺ.
They stated that the noble qualities and exemplary character of the Holy Prophet ﷺ represent the living embodiment of the teachings of the Holy Quran. They also highlighted the Prophet’s ﷺ unparalleled love, compassion, and kindness toward children. The young speakers emphasized that love for the Seerah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ and following its teachings is the true path to success.
The Milad al-Nabi ﷺ reception was attended by Deputy Director General Media Affairs Noorullah Siddiqui, Allama Ghulam Murtaza Alvi, Mazhar Mahmood Alvi, Lubna Mushtaq, Ayesha Mubashir, Sehr Ambreen, Hajra Qutub Awan, Umm-e-Kulsoom Qamar, Aiman Yousaf Mughal, and Noreen Alvi, along with office-bearers and workers of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Lahore and children of Eagers Forum accompanied by their families.
The gathering concluded with all participants collectively presenting Durood-o-Salam in the presence of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. The children then cut a Milad cake, after which the guests were served a Milad reception. A special prayer was offered for the safety, peace, prosperity, and blessings of the Muslim Ummah, the country and nation, and all of humanity.
