The 43rd International Milad Conference of Minhaj-ul-Quran International was held at the spacious grounds of Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore, with hundreds of thousands of devotees of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) participating in the grand spiritual gathering.
Founder and Supreme Patron of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, delivered a special address at the conference. Religious and spiritual figures from various countries, including prominent Arab scholars and Shaykhs, also participated in the gathering.
Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the conference had served as an important platform for conveying a universal message of peace, love, brotherhood, tolerance, and respect for humanity.
He said that a large number of devotees from across Pakistan had attended the 43rd International Milad Conference. He also noted that people from Lahore had participated in the grand celebration in large numbers, joining their families in commemorating the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that celebrating the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was an expression of faith and that love for the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) was an essential part of every Muslim’s faith.
He emphasized that the International Milad Conference was not merely a religious gathering but had conveyed a message of love, peace, brotherhood, tolerance, and humanity to the entire world. Through this historic gathering, he said, the world had been reminded that the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) were founded upon peace, love, fraternity, moderation, tolerance, and respect for human dignity.
He further said that, in an age marked by hatred, extremism, violence, and intolerance, the world urgently needed to seek guidance from the noble Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The International Milad Conference, he added, had provided an effective platform for highlighting this universal message of mercy and compassion.
Central Working Council Reviews Conference Arrangements
Prior to the event, a meeting of the Central Working Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International had been held at the organization’s Central Secretariat in Lahore, where detailed reviews were conducted regarding preparations and administrative arrangements for the 43rd International Milad Conference.
The meeting was attended by central leaders, office-bearers, and members of the Central Working Council. Detailed consultations were held on publicity and administrative matters, facilities for participants, security, discipline and crowd management, reception arrangements, and the responsibilities of various departments. Relevant officials were also issued necessary instructions to ensure smooth arrangements for the conference.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Rafiq Najm, Dr. Mir Asif Akbar, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Brigadier (Retd.) Umar Hayat, Colonel (Retd.) Khalid Javed, Syed Musharraf Hussain Shah, Noorullah Siddiqui, Nasir Iqbal Advocate, Allama Ashfaq Chishti, Professor Iqbal Hussain Bajwa, Baji Lubna Mushtaq, Sana Waheed, Ayesha Mubashir, Rana Waheed Shehzad, Farhan Sheikh, Qari Riyasat Chadhar, Hafiz Ghulam Fareed, and other members of the Central Working Council.
