Value of time is foundation of success: Chairman MQI Supreme Council

A farewell ceremony honoring the teachers was held at the Central Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, organized by the graduating students of the College of Shariah and Islamic Sciences, Al-Shahadah Al-Alamiyyah, Second Year, Session 2019–2026.
Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, attended the ceremony as the chief guest and addressed the graduating students and faculty members.
Congratulating the graduates, the Rector and faculty, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the seven-year educational and training journey had laid a strong foundation for the students’ practical lives. He urged them to remain lifelong seekers and servants of knowledge, continuously expand their reading and intellectual capabilities, and translate the training received at the institution into character and action.
He emphasized that there is no end to the pursuit of knowledge and that humility is essential for learning. He advised the graduates to value their time, establish clear priorities, and utilize the blessings of health and youth for knowledge, worship and service to humanity.
He said graduation from the university marks the completion of one chapter, not the end of the journey. Minhaj-ul-Quran is the students’ legacy, while the Prophetic mission is a trust entrusted to them, he added.
In his welcome address, Principal Professor Dr. Mumtaz-ul-Hassan Barvi said that after completing their seven-year academic journey, the students were now entering practical life, where their knowledge must be translated into action. The training and values imparted by the institution, he said, should be clearly reflected in their character and conduct.
He highlighted the distinctive identity of Minhaj-ul-Quran Islamic University, where tradition and modernity, love for the Holy Prophet ﷺ, devotion to the Ahl al-Bayt and the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), intellectual openness and academic comprehensiveness come together.
President of Bazm-e-Minhaj, Muhammad Faiz-ul-Mustafa Chishti, along with other graduates, paid tribute to the teachers.
