Minhajians should educate young people through their experiences and observations: MQI Supreme Council Chairman
Create awareness about positive use of social media and turn it into a source of good for youth
Shahid Latif, Ghulam Murtaza Alvi and other leaders address annual meeting of Minhajians Forum

Chairman Supreme Council Minhaj-ul-Quran International Prof. Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that educated, skilled and knowledgeable Minhajians should guide and educate young people in the light of their experiences and observations. He said Generation Z cannot be left at the mercy of ChatGPT and other digital tools.
He warned that if the younger generation is not provided with education and awareness based on the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah, an intellectual crisis could emerge in which the scholarly heritage, values and traditions of previous generations could be swept away.
“The Quran is the truth, and Minhaj-ul-Quran is following the path of the Quran,” he said. He added that Minhajians have benefited directly from the knowledge and guidance of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Therefore, they have a responsibility to share the knowledge and spiritual benefit they have received from Minhaj-ul-Quran with society and to provide intellectual and educational guidance to the younger generation.
He expressed these views while addressing the annual meeting of the Minhajians Forum held at the Central Secretariat.
Dr Hassan Qadri said Minhajians should transform the challenges associated with social media into a source of benefit for the younger generation by creating awareness about its positive and constructive use. Rather than distancing young people from modern technology, they should be trained to use digital platforms positively and constructively, alongside sound guidance rooted in the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah and strong moral values.
Prof. Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said the term “Minhajian” is derived from “Minhaj,” a distinguished Quranic association. This affiliation, he said, is not merely an identity; it represents responsibility, commitment and purpose.
In his welcome address, President Minhajians Forum Allama Shahid Latif said Minhajians are the vanguard of the Prophetic Mission. He said the purpose of the annual meeting was to further strengthen Minhajians’ connection with the central organization, promote mutual interaction and utilize their abilities in the service of the Prophetic Mission.
Allama Ghulam Murtaza Alvi said the intellectual and professional capabilities and experiences of Minhajians are a valuable asset. He said a publication is being compiled to preserve the services, experiences and struggles of Minhajians, which would serve as an important reference for future generations of Minhajians.
Nazim Minhajians Forum Muhammad Umar Daraz Qadri and Mutahir Awan also addressed the meeting.
Principal Minhaj College for Women Aftab Ahmed Khan, Dr Muhammad Hussain Azad, Shehzad Rasool Qadri, Muhammad Rehan Advocate, Malik Basit, Pir Nasir Qadri Advocate, Syed Mubashir Kazmi, Sulaiman Baghdadi, Muhammad Akram Rana, Mansha Islam, Minhaj-ud-Din Qadri, Mufti Shabbir, Khurram Shehzad, Muhammad Ramzan Qadri, Mufti Nasir Bilal, Dr Muhammad Mudassar, Abid Bashir Qadri, Muhammad Qasim Sajjad, Muhammad Mehtab, session coordinators, and Minhajians residing in Pakistan and abroad participated in the meeting both physically and online.
