Minhaj Welfare Foundation has launched a relief effort for the people affected by the recent floods and torrential rains. It distributed relief goods consisting of food items, tents and water to the flood affectees in the far-flung villages of South Punjab.

Minhaj Sisters UK North Zone this past year has been conducting various programmes across multiple cities including, Manchester, Sheffield, Nelson, and Halifax. The main aim has been to develop stronger circles within the local communities and crate interfaith forums for young women.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the passing of Khalid Mahmood Durrani, senior MQI leader from KP province. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri addressed National Youth Conference UK. At the conference he announced the new youth movement for Minhaj-ul-Quran International UK. The youth movement will work under the banner of "Minhaj Muslim Generations" to attract the young people to the message of the beloved Prophet ﷺ and to connect them to the long lost values and etiquettes of Holy Prophet ﷺ.

As part of meetings with religious scholars, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri had a meeting with a group of scholars at Oldham Central Mosque in Manchester. He also gave ijazah (permission) and linked the scholars to a Sanad (chain of transmission) of Hadith which is known as: al-Hadith al-Musalsal bi al-Musafaha.

In a meeting with Minhaj Women League Scotland Zone, Dr. Ghazala Qadri and Sr. Basima Hassan Qadri were briefed about the current work being carried out by MWL Scotland. Dr Ghazala congratulated them on their excellent progress and appreciated the achievements of MWL Scotland especially their great efforts during covid and gave guidance and advice for their future projects.
Mrs. Fizzah Hussain Qadri held meetings and sessions with Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (Victoria, Australia) during her visit to Australia. She met with the newly constituted executive team of MWL Victoria Sisters and thoroughly guided the team members about their roles and responsibilities being designated. She said that character is the most consequential factor in our efforts to promote the message of Islam, adding that we should focus on building our character and becoming a role model for others.
