Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) Sweden arranged a special Quaid day celebration. Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri was the chief guest on the occasion. Syed Zill-e-Hussain, President Minhaj European Council, Director MQI Denmark Mufti Irshad Hussain Saeedi, President MQI Europe Zone Bilal Uppal and Amir-e-Tehreek Denmark Ishfaq Hussain joined the worthy chief guest on the main stage.
Minhaj University Lahore and Pakistan Red Crescent Society signed an MoU to set up a trained force of youth volunteers to deal with natural catastrophes, provide first medical aid and emergency protection and establish blood donation camps. As part of MoU, the students of Minhaj University Lahore will work with the Pakistan Red Crescent Society.
Directorate of Training MQI organized a Diploma in Quran Studies course in Abbottabad through which it trained a large great number of students and scholars. The closing ceremony was attended by MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, President MWL Ms. Farah Naz, Secretary General MWL Ms. Sidra Karamat and other office holders including Fatima Saeed and Saima Noor.
Addressing a seminar on the subject of ‘How to become friend of Allah?’ held under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League Denmark, Chairman MQI Supreme Council said the role of a spiritual mentor is central in a quest of getting enlightenment. He said Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri became Shaykh-ul-Islam only because he accomplished the spiritual journey under the supervision and patronage of his guide and mentor.
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri inaugurated the new building on February 6, 2020. The renovation of the Valby Centre of MQI Denmark has been completed recently. The new office, new Mosque hall, new school rooms, new ablution points, women hall, and toilets have been constructed in the renovated building.
The executive members of all the forums and organizations of MQI Denmark held a collective meeting with Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. Allama Mufti Irsahd Hussain Saeedi, Mahmood Shah and the heads of various forums including the representatives of Minhaj Sisters League were also present on the occasion.
Quran Khawani was held for the late mother of MQI Canada leader Khawaja Kamran Rashid. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri attended the program and spoke to the participants. Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Al-Madani Al-Qadri, Shaykh Ahmad Mustafa Al-Arabi Al-Qadri and the workers and leaders of MQI Canada and a large number of people from the Pakistani community attended the Quran Khawani.
Senior anchorperson and analyst Ali Mumtaz visited Orphan Care Home and celebrated the first birthday of his son, Abdullah Ali, with the orphan children of Aghosh. Ali Mumtaz's father Mumtaz Hassan, mother, grandfather and wife were also present on the occasion. Ali Mumtaz cut the cake of his son's birthday along with all the children of Aghosh and distributed gifts among them.
A monthly edition of spiritual gathering of Gosh-a-Durood was held at the central secretariat on February 1, 2020. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri addressed gathering via Minhaj TV from Canada. The proceedings of the spiritual gathering got underway with the recitation of the holy Quran after Isha prayers. Minhaj Naat Council and others had the honour of reciting Naat.

Addressing the 'Chehlum' ceremony of late Sahibzada Pir Sayyid Hidayat Rasool Shah Qadri, Chairman MQI Supreme Council said that Pir sahib was a great asset of MQI and Ahl-e-Sunnat. He had devoted his life to Islam and MQI with complete and unflinching sincerity. Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din asked people to enlighten their hearts with the love and obedience of Allah Almighty and His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Chairman Supreme Council Minhaj-ul-Quran International Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri inaugurated the Water Filtration Plant which was given as a gift from the Directorate of Resources and Development MQI for the provision of clean water for Gosha-e-Durood. The third two-day World Islamic Economics & Finance Conference (WIEFC) organized by the Minhaj University Lahore opened here on Saturday. Economists from across Pakistan and various other countries are attending the moot. Federal Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan said at the opening session that the present government is committed to the restoration and development of the economy and will welcome suggestions from the academia, national and international economists in this respect.
President Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Mrs. Farah Naz along with Secretary-General MWL Ms. Sidra Karamat was invited to an Interfaith Harmony Conference organized by "Who is Hussain?" - Pakistan Chapter. Mrs. Farah Naz talked on the ideology of Islam and its emphasis on interfaith and inter-sect harmony. She explicated the need for peaceful coexistence and building of bridges in this era of civilizational clashes.
