Quran khawani was arranged for the souls of the martyrs of Model town tragedy at more than 300 places across the country under the banner of PAT and MQI on the completion of five years of the Model Town massacre. These ceremonies were held to pay tributes to the men, women and youth who were martyred by Punjab police in the worst act of brutality committed in the broad daylight of June 17, 2014. The people paid their homages by holding banners, and placards and laying floral wreaths on the graves of the martyrs.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has congratulated the people of Pakistan on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. He prayed to Allah Almighty to foster unity in the ranks of Muslims around the globe. In his special Eid message, he said that this day is the day of immense happiness and spiritual solace for those who fasted. He asked the people to include other people in their happiness. He said that sharing the sorrows and happiness of our relatives, friends and families is a superior act.
Chairman Supreme Council Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri addressed an exclusive session with Mustafavi Students Movement Sisters on Sunday, 2nd June. During the session, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri spoke on the significant role of youth in the nation building. He stressed upon the need to revive the culture of gaining knowledge by burning one’s midnight oil.
Mrs. Fizza Hussain Qadri spent her whole day with Mu'takifaat in Women Itikaf City and joined various activities and events planned by Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League. She met with the women residing in Ibn e Khaldun block and listened to their views and experiences during the days of Itikaf.

Addressing thousands of the faithful attending the international spiritual gathering, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that Allah Almighty loves those who remain awake at night in worship and seek His forgiveness. He said that according to a Hadith, this blessed night is superior to thousands of nights and this gift was only presented to the Holy Prophet’s (SAW) Umma. He said that those who pray for peace, forgiveness, and pleasure of Allah on this night have their prayers granted.
The Holy Prophet (peace be upon said) that there are one hundred parts to Allah's Mercy yet only one part has been distributed amongst the entirety of creation (Bukhari). Every momin receives a part of this Mercy. From this mercy comes the love of a mother for her child, the kindness of a father to his family and even to the bird that will hide its new born under her wings.
Addressing the thousands of the residents of Itikaf City through video link, MQI leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that he who holds his actions and behavior to accountability, all of his worries are removed. He said that the heartfelt acknowledgment of Allah's blessings teaches us to be thankful. He said that those who look at the glass of Allah's blessings as empty, continue to remain empty and those who think the glass of His blessings is full remain blessed.
An Interfaith Iftar and Prayer Meet was hosted by Minhaj Interfaith and Welfare Foundation on 2nd June at Diwan-e-Khaas, Islam Gymkhana in Mumbai. It was attended by religious leaders from Muslim, Hindu, Christian, Buddhist, Jain, Sikh and Parsi faiths. Members from reputed NGO's and personnel from Police also graced the event with their presence. The books on Anti Terror curriculum authored by Shaykh ul Islam Dr. Tahir ul Qadri were presented to the guests.
When children are young their hearts have yet to be covered with the layers of the dunya. They are open and receptive and can be moulded in any form and manner. The young children sitting in itikaf through the Eagers platform have been listening to the beautiful lectures of Shaykh-ul-Islam and are then given extra spiritual training by their young and inspirational teachers. The purity and innocence of these children’s hearts is evidenced through the shedding of their tears.

The sixth spiritual gathering was held on the 26th night of Ramazan at the Itikaf City under the banner of MQI. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri delivered his keynote speech on the subject of spiritualism. Chairman of MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri were also present on the central stage.
Addressing the congregation of the last Friday of Ramazan, Chairman of MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the salvation of the Muslims lies in adopting the path of faith. He said that since the time Muslims deviated from the teachings of the Quran, they have been overwhelmed by fear, conspiracies, and challenges offered by the anti-Islam forces.
Under Help Feed Project of Minhaj Interfaith & Welfare Foundation (MIWF) the distribution of ration among the needy and underprivileged sections of society in three phases and it benefited 2161 families across 17 locations. Alongwith food packets , MIWF also gave cash amount to poor and needy families. The project is being carried out since 5 years by MIWF volunteers across India.
On the fifth gathering during the night of 25th of Ramazan at the Itikaf City, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri continued his lecture on spiritualism from Imam Ghazali's "Bidayatul Hidayah". He described the fifth meaning of piety and said that the journey towards reform and guidance starts off with piety. He said that there are internal and external aspects of the concept of piety. Provincial minister for religious affairs Sahibzada Sayyid Saeed-ul-Hassan Shah was the guest of honour at the session.
