Members from all over UK gathered at the joyous occasion of celebrating the 68th birthday of their Beloved Quaid, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on Sunday 24th February 2019. They came in their droves, in convoys of coaches, families, seniors, youth and infants.
Dr Ghazala Hassan Qadri, the member of MQI Supreme Council, chaired an organizational training meeting in Oslo, Norway on February 25, with the Minhaj Women League Oslo, Minhaj Youth League Sisters and the Minhaj Halqa-e-Durood teams. The meeting discussed the strategy to raise awareness about the rights of women in Islam.
Dr Ghazala Hassan Qadri participated in a cake cutting ceremony with the MQI sisters forums of Oslo, Norway, in celebration of the 68th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
The Quranic Encyclopedia inaugural ceremony was held in Copenhagen, Denmark in which Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri was the chief guest. Addressing the ceremony, he said that the Quranic Encyclopedia is not just for the common people to easily understand the subjects of the Holy Book but the judges, lawyers, civil servants, teachers, scholars, students, and researchers could also greatly benefit from it.
President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri addressed hundreds of students of COSIS on the occasion of the Quaid Day. He said that Pakistan’s future and prosperity of the Islamic world is linked with knowledge. He said that the students should build a relationship of friendship with the books. He said wherever Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri went in the world, he only bought books, stating that his life is connected with the books.
A special ceremony to celebrate the 68th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was held at the Minhaj University Lahore on February 19. Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Dr Aslam Ghauri, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Dr Shahid Soroya, Col. (r) Mubashir Iqbal, Barrister Amir Hassan, Mian Zahid Islam, GM Malik, Jawad Hamid, Adnan Javed, Shahzad Rasool, Sohail Ahmad Raza, Noorullah Siddiqi, Rashid Kalyami, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Deans, Heads of Departments and the students of the senior classes attended the ceremony.
A special ceremony marking the 68th birthday of the Leader and Founder of Minhaj-ul-Quran Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was celebrated with fervor at Minhaj-ul-Quran Dallas today on Sunday, February 17, 2019, in a decorated Uways Al-Qarani auditorium of Minhaj-ul-Quran Community Center. The birthday ceremony was attended by all Minhaj-ul-Quran Sunday school students, along with their families, relatives and friends and other community members of DFW area.
Mehfil-e-Naat and Dua ceremony was held at the central secretariat on the occasion of the 68th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri attended the programme. A large number of workers including Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Jawad Hamid, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Altaf Shah and others participated in the ceremony.
Irfan-ul-Quran course camp was organized in the Islamic Centre from February 10 to 19 with the collaboration of MQI Sialkot and Directorate of Training, central secretariat. Central Director (courses) Hafiz Saeed Raza Baghdadi, and Mahmood Masood Qadri attended the event as the guests of honour and delivered their talks in the camp.
An important meeting was held between Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Deputy Chairman BoG of Minhaj University Lahore (MUL) and Ahmed Ali Siddiqui, Director of Institute of Business Administration (IBA-CEIF) in Karachi in which different options for collaborations and joint ventures between MUL and IBA were discussed. Dr. Irum Saba, Assistant Professor IBA-CEIF and Ghulam Shabbir, Senior Joint Director, Islamic Banking Department, State Bank of Pakistan, were also present in the meeting.
On Monday, Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Canada) celebrated the 68th birthday of founding-leader of MQI Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The birthday ceremony took place at Sagan Banquet Hall, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Minhaj Sisters (Spain) were happy to have a spiritual training workshop with Chairman Supreme Council Minhaj ul Quran Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. The workshop commenced with the melodious recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Nasheed which was read by young Sisters. Minhaj Sisters also presented their one-year performance report which was really appreciated by Dr Hassan.
The inaugural ceremony of the Quranic Encyclopedia was held in Barcelona on February 16. Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri was the keynote speaker. In his address, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the holy Quran is the Word of Allah and it has a solution to all the challenges facing the world. He said that Islam is a religion of tolerance, peace, love, and moderation.
The inaugural ceremony of the 8-volume Quranic Encyclopedia compiled by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, which is a treasure of knowledge, was held in Depalpur under the banner of the Minhaj-ul-Quran Depalpur on February 14. President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri presided over the ceremony.
Former Pakistan cricket captain and a leading player Azhar Ali visited the central secretariat of the MQI in Model Town the other day and appreciated Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri for his role in promoting peace, love and interfaith dialogue in the world. He also visited Gosha-e-Durood and spent some time there. Among the offices he visited included Directorates of Foreign Affairs, central media cell, and MWL.
