The inaugural ceremony of the 8-volume Quranic Encyclopedia compiled by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, which is a treasure of knowledge, was held in Jaranwala under the banner of the Minhaj-ul-Quran International Jaranwala on February 24. President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri attended the ceremony as chief guest and delivered his keynote address. Those present on the occasion included Fayyaz Ahmad Warraich, Major (r) Abdul Rahman Rana, Mawlana Muhammad Yahya, Dr Saeed Ahmad, Sayyid Tayyab Shah, Mian Ghulam Dastagir, Abu Shams Ahmad Ali, Tasadduq Hussain Naqvi, Farhan Aziz, Khalil Tahir, Dr Shafiq Ahmad, and renowned people belonging to different walks of life in addition to a large number of the PAT and MQI workers.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that knowledge without good deeds is of no use. He said that the holy Quran offers us guidance and the way to salvation. He said that pollution of sectarianism has hurt Islamic message of peace, love and knowledge. He said that the MQI is spreading the universal message of Islam based on love and reform of our lives to every nook and corner of the world.
