Compilation of Quranic Encyclopedia a revivalist work of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri: Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
Addressing a Quran Conference in Frankfurt (Germany), Chairman of the MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the scholars have done a lot of work on the Holy Quran in different ages. He said that the Sufis, Mashaykh, and religious scholars of the olden times carried out research work on the meanings of the Quranic text in their respective ages and now 8-volume Quranic Encyclopedia compiled by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri that covers 5000 subjects is a great revivalist work. He said that Dr Qadri has not only carried forward the tradition of our ancestors through the compilation of this work but also persuaded the researchers and common people to benefit from the Divine Book and explore more meanings out of the Quranic text.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the people belonging to various walks of life such as teachers, students, religious scholars and researchers are keenly reading the Encyclopedia and using the material for their research projects, something which is welcome.
Allama Farhat Abbas Shah, Director of MQI Frankfurt, said on the occasion that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has breathed a new life in the Islamic world through his writings and speeches. He said that it is for this reason that the people of various faiths and viewpoints laud his efforts and hold him in high esteem.
Chaudhry Imran Khan, Chaudhry Farooq Azhar, Umar Hayat, Shahid Mahmood, Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Arshad, and Muhammad Anser were among the prominent attendees.
