The meeting of the PAT Shura has been scheduled on the 5th April. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will preside over the meeting.
Addressing a consultative meeting at the central secretariat earlier today, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that we never took law in our hands during our struggle for justice. He said that we always looked up to the judiciary and will continue to demand justice from it till it is delivered. He said that 14 innocent people were martyred brutally in the broad daylight and the whole nation saw the painful footage on their TV screens, adding that the blood of the martyrs will not go in vain.
The consultative meeting was attended by Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Basharat Jaspal, Noorullah Siddiqi, GM Malik, Jawad Hamid, Mian Rehan Maqbool, Altaf Hussain Shah, Qazi Shafique-ur-Rehman, Ms. Farah Naz, Mazhar Mahmood Alvi, Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Sardar Ghazanfar Hussain Advocate, Mudassir Baloch and others etc.
The participants of the meeting paid rich tributes to Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri on his compilation of the Quranic Encyclopedia and termed it as a huge service in terms of understanding the Holy Quran.
Dr Qadri appreciated the PAT chapters of South, Central and North Punjab, KP, Sindh on including the members of the civil society and religious scholars from all sectors during the inaugural ceremonies of the Quranic Encyclopedia. He said that MQI is playing its role in building bridges and promoting peace and amity. He congratulated Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees on showing excellent organizational performance.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri directed the members of the Shura to ensure their participation in the meeting.
