Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Lahore organized Seerah Conference at Empire Marquee Lahore on 7th December 2019, which was attended by great number of women in which Chairman Supreme Council Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri was invited as a chief guest.
The conference was organized in line with Milad Muhim which has been launched all across Pakistan to promote the culture of celebrating the blessed arrival of Holy Prophet (PBUH) in this world.
Mrs. Fizzah Hussain Qadri, Mrs. Qurat-ul-Ain Khadija and Mrs. Ayesha Nazir Qadri from Holland joined the conference. Provincial Minister Dr. Yasmeen Rashid also joined the conference and while sharing her views she appraised the efforts of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women and spoke highly of their efforts. She talked about the empowerment of women as a core value promoted by Islam and said that "those who disregard their women have actually deviated from the teachings of Islam".
Chairman Supreme Council MQI Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri delivered an important lecture today and addressed the subject of love for Allah Almighty's beloved Prophet (PBUH) as the core of our Ima'an. He beautifully related the passing on of this love to us and said that "the love of Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the nucleus of our Ima'an and as the DNA contains the hereditary material, similarly, this love passes through a chain of lovers and is still alive to this day".
Explaining further he stated that "Alhamdullilah Minhaj-ul-Quran carries the DNA of the love of Holy Prophet (PBUH) in this age and is inculcating that love among the people". Women are the key players to transfer this worthy legacy of love to their next generations and here comes the role of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League who is primarily focusing on the revitalization of this magnificent relation with Allah's Apostle (PBUH) through organizing thousands of conferences and mahafils all across Pakistan.
He congratulated the entire team of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Lahore for organizing this beautiful Seerah Conference and extended his prayers for all the sisters who are doing great efforts to promote and celebrate Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
President Women League Mrs. Farah Naz greatly appreciated Amina Batool, President MWL Lahore Mrs. Noreen Alvi, Nazima MWL Lahore Samreen Qadri and the entire team of Minhaj-ul Quran Women League Lahore. Brig. Iqbal Ahmed (Retd), Qazi Faiz ul Islam, Sohail Raza, Shehzad Raza, Sidra Karamat, Anila Ilyas, Ayesha Mubashir, Noor Ullah Siddique and Hafiz Ghulam Fareed were also present at the occasion.
