Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Dallas organized a splendid Mawlid al-Nabi program for sisters today on Saturday, January 18, 2020, which was commemorated by an impressive number of sisters from Dallas Fort-worth area. Minhaj-ul-Quran Dallas Women League president Sister Riffat Qazi conducted the proceedings of the ceremony with the introduction of Minhaj-ul-Quran, its goal, and the unprecedented scholarly work of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri with special mentioning of His recently authored Quranic Encyclopaedia. She then introduced Minhaj Youth League coordinator Madeeha Mian and Sunday school Teacher, Dr. Snobar Rashid, as the two MCs of the program.
Before commencing the formal program, Sister Madeeha highlighted on the above verse that Almighty Allah is near to us and further elaborated on Surah Qaf verse 16 verse which states that Almighty Allah is nearer to us than our Jugular vein.
Then, Sister Mariayh Qazi Youth league coordinator, commenced the event with the Qirat of Surah Quraysh in her beautiful voice, followed by the Translation in English by Sister Evren Khan. Next, the guest nasheed reciter Sister Ramsha recited melodious Poetic piece in the praise of Almighty Allah. Minhaj Youth League sisters also presented beautiful Arabic Nasheed Ya Habib al-Qalbi in the chorus. Everyone’s spirits were further uplifted when Minhaj Naat council of sisters recited poetic praises, odes, and hymns to restore our relationship with Almighty Allah and to the Holy Prophet. Slogans of at-Takbir and ar-Risalah were also raised to incite the spiritual feel among the audience.
Furthermore, Sister Safa Faizi recited a beautiful kalam, tere hotey janam liya hota, of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri which audience listened keenly. Video clip of Shaykh-ul-Islam was also shown on how to reform ourselves to please Almighty Allah and His beloved Rasool . To maintain the continuity of the program, Sister Riffat Qazi addressed the audience and expounded eloquently the beautiful and worthy attributes of the ancestors of the Holy Prophet with reference to Surah Quraysh. In addition, Sister Riffat emphasized the audience to make those pious traits and characteristics as our way of life.
Hence, the message was that the base of Iman rests on the prophethood of Prophet Muhammad . Through Almighty Allah’s beloved Prophet , We had knowledge of the presence of Allah. Tawheed is like a roof, and the way to the roof is the ladder, which in this case is risalah (prophethood). If our link with the Holy Prophet is strong, then our belief in Allah is also strong. Whoever has a strong relationship with the Holy Prophet has a strong relationship with Almighty Allah and we will feel Almighty Allah’s nearness in our life.
This beautiful event was eventually concluded in tears by the recitation of salutations upon the Beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ lead by Minhaj Naat Council and followed by a heartfelt dua by sister Safia. All the guest performers were given gifts and meal boxes were provided to everyone at the end of the program. Stall on the books and the free CDs on the lectures of Shaykh-ul-Islam were also available for the audience to purchase.
