MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that time is a very precious commodity and should be used very productively. He asked the teachers and the students to continue academic activities through the internet and information technology. He congratulated the Minhaj University Lahore, COSIS, and Minhaj College for Women for successfully conducting the online classes during the suspension of normal educational activities.
Dr Tahir ul Qadri asked people to continue to stay home until the Corona epidemic is eliminated and the government doesn't allow the initiation of normal activities. He said that people can overcome the fear of quarantine by turning their spare time into an optional spiritual retreat. He said that adopting solitude for character building, development of personality and protecting oneself from petty things in life is a great panacea for the ills.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the prophets of Allah Almighty spent a major chunk of their life in solitude to win the pleasure of Allah. He said that solitude affords an opportunity for self-reflection and self-accountability. He said that instead of considering the present conditions as a tragedy and increasing our worries, we should make most of the available spare time and spend it most productively.
Dr Qadri also congratulated the Directorate of training on starting online classes and teaching the Arabic language to the hundreds of thousands of people across the world. He said that the administration of the e-Learning program deserves to be lauded for the leadership in providing the education of the Quran and Sunnah to hundreds of children of Muslim families across 40 countries in the world during difficult times.
Saeed Raza Baghdadi, Director of Directorate of Training, said that more than 6000 people have got themselves registered for learning a 10-day Arabic course. He said that the teaching courses have been started. He also stated that the students and teachers associated with educational institutions of Minhaj-ul-Quran are playing the role in the promotion of education in different walks of life.
