Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League held an online meeting with Chairman Supreme Council MQI Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri which was attended by MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Vice President MQI Brig. (Retd) Iqbal Ahmed and the central executive members of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Pakistan.
Mr. Iqbal Ahmed briefed about the working of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League's emergency plan in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak. President MWL Farah Naz and Nazima MWL Sidra Karamat presented the outcomes of the plan in detail. The departmental and zonal heads also participated in the meeting and presented the progress reports.
Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri greatly appreciated the efforts, ideas, plan and results that MWL was able to achieve in such short and challenging times. He especially encouraged the Eagers and MSM Sisters department's work in providing a useful set of activities for families and students.
Upon launching the Quran Refresher Course and other online courses, Dr. Hassan highly appreciated the effort and emphasized to boost this trend during the quarantine period. He said that due to lockdown, online classes and course will bridge the gap of traditional Dawah techniques and will prove to be a useful medium for the society to not only communicate but also to learn and teach.
Programs initiated through countrywide welfare campaign and through Tarbiyah department are the right call of the time, he added. He said that in these difficult times we must help our affected brothers and sisters and become their support. He also gave valuable feedback to further strengthen these efforts in the future.
