Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is going to start 40-day series of lectures on the topic of 'Halqa al-Tarbiyya' from the fifth of the holy month of Ramadan. These lectures will be based on Sahih al-Bukhari and Ihyaʾ ʿUlum al-Din, the book of Imam al-Gazali (RA). Certificates duly signed by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri will be distributed among the participants of the 40-day lectures. Online registration is underway to join the series.
While talking about the lectures, Muhammad Farooq Rana, Director FMRi, said that these lectures are based on rare information and knowledge for those looking to quench their scholarly thirst. He said that Shaykh-ul-Islam will give a talk on the compilation of Hadith and its protection during the period of the holy companions before the compilation of Sahih al-Bukhari during the first 3 days of the 40-day series. He said the purpose of these lectures is to reform our conduct and learn etiquette and manners.
Rana Farooq further said that the hundreds of Imams were also Hafiz-e-Hadith. He said there was no lapse in the protection of Hadith till the time of the holy companions before Sahih al-Bukhari. He said that Allah Almighty has protected Hadith in the same way as He has the Holy Quran. He said that Imam Bukhari (RA) himself prepared 1,000 copies of Al-Jamiʿ al-Sahih in his life, adding the lectures of Shaykh-ul-Islam on Hadith sciences are unique and based on real knowledge. He said that these lectures will quench the thirst of the seekers of knowledge.
