Mustafavi Students Movement Sisters, a department of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Pakistan, initiates its annual tree plantation activity through its Socio-Welfare Society. The idea behind 'Treedom Movement' is to go with the vision of Green Movement through which thousands of students plant trees.
Hundreds of volunteers of MSM Sisters participate in this activity and plant thousands to trees every year to celebrate the festive occasion of Independence Day. It goes as a week long celebration across the lengths and breadths of Pakistan. Such activities make students socially responsible and inculcate in them the spirit of patriotism.
Eagers department of MWL Pakistan also encourages kids to participate in this activity as the little ones enthusiastically plant seeds at various points. Amidst global warming and changing environmental patterns globally, such initiatives are a great step towards environment security measures.
