Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League, Pakistan, held a special session for Al-Tarbiyah participants in which Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri's talk was shared on the topic "Traits of Leadership". This session was in the form of a close Zoom meeting exclusively for Al-Tarbiyah participants.
Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri beautifully explained the key features that are an integral part of the personality and policy of any leader. He said that "for one to become a leader, it is important for him to become a follower first". He said it gives a person an insight into how he is viewed and what is expected from him and it introduces a leader to a parallel and objective reality."
Describing traits of a leader he said, "Leader is one who never gives up on the path of righteousness, no matter what challenge comes his way. But, all along, the leader remains conscious of the repercussions of his policies, so that he never ignores the 'Hikma' behind his actions and thoughts."
Stating further he added, "a leader looks deeply into the past experiences and always keeps an eye on the future while making decisions in the present". Therefore, the perception of a leader is beyond the conception of his followers as what he sees cannot be viewed by those who haven't traveled that path like him. Hence, the only solace for a devotee lies in believing in his leader and not to dwindle his belief.
Leader, he explained, never compromises on truth, justice, and reality. It is a defining parameter that if one does unjust acts himself, then he is not a leader. He must possess high moral values and a strong character. Also, the vision of a leader is never narrow. He plans for generations and sees matters on a broader spectrum.
This session was attended by officeholders from all across Pakistan. The feedback has been extraordinary as the officeholders submitted responses to relevant team heads and extended the heartiest gratitude to the organizers for holding such an inspiring session for them.
