On the occasion of the 40th foundation of MQI, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, former CM Punjab Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo, former PM Azad Kashmir Sardar Attique Ahmad Khan, provincial ministers Syed Samsam Ali Shah Bukhari, and Syed Saeed-ul-Hassan Shah, renowned lawyer and former minister SM Zafar, actor Usman Pirzada, writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, Allama Dr Raghib Hussain Naeemi, Allama Muhammad Amin Shaheedi, Ibrar-ul-Haq, Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami, Orya Maqbool Jan, Hassan Nisar, Mubasher Lucman, Irshad Arif and leading political, religious and journalistic leaders have conveyed their felicitations and congratulations to Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
MQI founding leader and patron-in-chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri thanked the national leaders and leading writers and journalists for sending their congratulatory messages and said that MQI is a movement working for the promotion of knowledge, peace, research, reform, and awareness.
In his message, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar congratulated Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri and the workers and members of MQI across the world on the 40th foundation day of MQI. He said the organization has done amazing work in the fields of human welfare, spiritual reform, and the promotion of the real teachings of Islam.
Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said in his message that MQI has served religion by rising above any kind of sectarian affiliation. He said the services of MQI for the promotion of education and the message of Islam in today's world are exemplary in every sense of the word. He said Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri deserves to be congratulated, for the institutions set up by him under the banner of MQI are benefiting hundreds of thousands of people across the world. He congratulated MQI leadership and workers on the 40th foundation day of the party.
Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said in his message that MQI has promoted the Islamic message of peace, love, and brotherhood. He said the establishment of the vast organizational network of MQI is proof of the fact that the narrative of MQI is based on the argument and the real teachings of the Holy Quran and Sunna. He said that the organization is serving Pakistan, Islam, and humanity well by going beyond the call of duty. He said he is happy to note that MQI never became part of any sectarian controversy.
Congratulating MQI on its 40th foundation day, Sardar Attique Ahmad Khan, former PM of Azad Kashmir, said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has been blessed with a comprehensive personality by the grace of Allah. Former Punjab Chief Minister and senior politician, Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo, said in his congratulatory message that the services rendered by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri for the promotion of the interfaith dialogue, love, and peace are praiseworthy. He said that hundreds of educational institutions set up by him represent a great service to the community. He said he never saw a disciplined institution like MQI.
Former Punjab Governor and senior PPP leader, Sardar Muhammad Latif Khosa, said in his message that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri always imparted the lesson of knowledge and peace to the youth. He said MQI is a reformative and religious movement. He said Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has served the cause of religion by rising above sectarian interests. He said that the 40-year journey of MQI is characterized by the promotion of knowledge, research and reform.
Renowned religious scholar Allama Muhammad Amin Shaheedi congratulated Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri on the completion of 40 years of MQI's services. He said the organization has gathered Muslims under an inclusive message of Islam by rising above any kind of biases. He said the intellectual contributions that MQI has made in the past four decades are praiseworthy. He said whatever scholarly task Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri took upon himself, he left no stone unturned to complete it.
Allama Dr Raghib Hussain Naeemi, Nazim-e-Aala of Jamia Naeemia, said in his congratulatory message that MQI is doing a fantastic job for the revival of Islam not only in Pakistan but also abroad. He said the credit of the successes achieved by MQI in the last four decades goes to Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri whose hard work has distinguished MQI from other organizations.
Famous senior lawyer SM Zafar said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is a man of many qualities and knows the art of speech as well as writing. Provincial minister for higher education Raja Yasir Hamayon congratulated Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri and his companions on the 40th foundation day of MQI. He said the struggle of Dr Qadri is meant for Pakistan and Islam. He said he holds him in high esteem for persuading the youth towards the religion.
Famous actor Afzal Khan alias Ramboo congratulated Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri on the foundation day of MQI. He said MQI is a religious organization whose work is impressive in many fields. He said it is the exclusive credit of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri that a large number of the youth are associated with MQI. He said the age we are living in, it is very hard to win over the youth without logic and reasoning. He said it is a matter of great happiness that the youths not only listen to Dr Qadri but also act upon his message.
Renowned senior anchorperson Mubasher Lucman said in his congratulatory message that it is amazing that the foundation day ceremonies of MQI are being organized in more than 100 countries of the world. He said he has his a long-time association with PAT and MQI. He said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is a charismatic personality who is blessed with wisdom and knowledge. Whenever he talks, his messages reaches the heart, and people are enlightened by it. He said what distinguishes MQI from others is its emphasis on spiritual training that it is imparting to millions of people across the world. He said he was deeply impressed by the commitment of MQI workers who have stood by Dr Qadri despite being subjected to brutality in Model Town. He said that they rejected threats and offers of financial assistance and demonstrated character, something that is not to be found in the cadres of any other party.
Leading intellectual, journalist and column writer Sohail Warraich also congratulated Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri on the 40th foundation day of MQI. He said he has closely seen Dr Qadri and can vouch for him that he ran his organization by rising above narrow considerations of the sect, ethnicity and other biases. He said he is deeply impressed by the manner in which Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has empowered women and given them proper space within MQI to work. He said that the educational institutions established by MQI are not only providing religious education but also in contemporary subjects as well. He said this blend of religious and modern education has resulted in producing a generation of scholars who not only know the teachings of religion but are also aware of the modern-day requirements.
