Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said the best use of social media is to convey the message of Allah and His Prophet (pbuh). He asked the youth to share the Quranic verses, Hadith, and other verified information about Islam instead of sharing bad things. He said we need to recall that the followers of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) have been given the responsibility of propagating the faith.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri made these remarks while addressing a joint meeting of the Central Executive Council and the Central Working Council. Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Muhammad Rafique Najam, GM Malik, Rana Muhammad Idrees, Jawad Hamid, Basharat Jaspal, Mian Rehan Maqbool, Noorullah Siddiqui, Farah Naz, Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Noor Muhammad Sahoo, Rana Fayyaz, Mazhar Alvi, Irfan Yousaf, Sohail Raza, Shahzad Rasool, Mian Abdul Qadir, Mian Kashif, and Sidra Karamat. Central PAT President Qazi Zahid Hussain also attended the meeting online.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri further said that MQI has institutionalized the religious work to pass it on to the succeeding generations. He said the work of individuals remains as long as they are alive whereas the institutions serve long-term interests as the source of guidance.
Dr Hassan said that MQI set up institutions such as Minhaj University Lahore, COSIS, Minhaj College for Women, Minhaj Education Society, Minhaj Welfare Foundation, and Aghosh under the guidance and supervision of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri that are benefiting hundreds of thousands of families. He asked the youth to become part of the MQI family to spread the teachings of Shaykh-ul-Islam that are based on peace, and tolerance.
