Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Eagers Club established under the aegis of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the children need to be imparted moral training right from the initial age to rid society of sectarianism and extremism and make it a hub of peace. He said that the parents, teachers, religious scholars, and media have a central role to play. He said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri set up institutions for the moral and spiritual training of people of every age group and segment of society.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri congratulated the office-holders of the Eagers Department that MWL has established for the training of the children and appreciated their excellent performance. He said that the Eagers Department is playing multiple roles of a mother, father, teacher, and elders.
Dr Ghazala Hassan Qadri, central president of MWL International, was a special guest in the ceremony. Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Mrs. Farah Naz, Ms. Aimen Yousaf, Umme Habiba Ismail, Mian Rehan Maqbool, Mian Abdul Qadir, Kalsoom Qamar and Sadia Ahmad also addressed the gathering.
The children of the Eagers Club recited Naat and were greatly appreciated for it. Sakina Hussain Qadri and Marwa Hussain Qadri, the daughters of Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of MQI, got membership of the Eagers Club on the occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan asked the parents to focus on the religious training of their children in addition to imparting them education in contemporary sciences. He said that Eagers is conducting courses for the learning of English and Urdu languages, calligraphy, and Quran reading courses.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the children are the future of the nation and not focusing on shaping their future is a great tragedy. He said that the IT experts and media houses must design animated games based on moral lessons so that the children could be trained according to their mental inclination. He said that our children are facing the pernicious ideological propaganda of the international media and social media.
Director Eagers Ms. Aimen Yousaf said in her speech that the parents are doing the duty of imparting training to their children in collaboration with the teachers. She said that the children who get registered with Eagers are handed down educational and training plans for the full year. She said that the parents are quite happy with this effort.
Ms. Umme Habiba Ismail, in her speech, underlined the need for moral training along the Islamic lines in order to stabilize and strengthen the family unity. She said that the kind of training children get in their childhood will go a long way in shaping their personalities in the future.
Naib Nazim-e-Aala media affairs Noorullah Siddiqui, Rashid Kalyami, Sidra Karamat, Anila Ilyas Dogar, Hafiz Saeed Raza Baghdadi, Allama Ghulam Murtaza Alvi, Qazi Faiz-ul-Islam, Ms. Ayesha Mubashir, and Ms. Irshad Iqbal also attended the ceremony. The parents from UK, USA, and Europe joined the ceremony through online means.
