MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will deliver his online lectures during the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan. He said that the heart-warming and soul-stirring speeches of Shaykh-ul-Islam are the source of spiritual development, particularly for the youth. He said that the decision has been taken not to hold Itikaf this year in view of the ongoing Corona pandemic in the country. He said that the faithful should isolate themselves at home with the intention of Itikaf during the last days and focus on their worship; recite the Holy Quran along with translation and enjoy the blessings of the holy month.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that those who cannot adopt solitude in their homes and have to go outdoors for an errand, they should make sure to adopt precautionary measures and observe social distancing. He urged the people to continue complying with the SOPs that were prescribed at the start of the pandemic. He warned that any laxity in following these SOPs carry grave consequences for our health. He said that we should keep the practice of washing hands continually, wearing masks, without any compromise. He said that the last ten days of Ramadan are quite blessed and the best source of achieving nearness of Allah. He said that we should do away all unnecessary engagements and dedicate ourselves to personal reform. He said that we should make special prayers for riddance from the Covid scourge.
