Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has congratulated Muslims around the globe on the beginning of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. In his special message of greetings on the occasion, he said that the start of the blessed month brings with it a message of peace, happiness, and tranquility. He said that our individual happiness is no match to the collective happiness symbolized by the holy month of the Holy Prophet's (pbuh) birth.
Shaykh-ul-Islam asked the workers and associates of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) to hold Milad gatherings and give a message of love, peace, and harmony to the people. He said that the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwal is an ideal month to strengthen our bond with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He urged Muslims to celebrate the month in a befitting manner. He said that the celebration of Mawlid-un-Nabi (pbuh) means compliance with all the four commandments of Allah Almighty i.e. Zikr-e-Naat, Tahdees-e-Nemat, Shukr-e-Nemat and Izhar-e-Farhat.
People welcomed the beginning of the holy month by congratulating one another and MQI workers took out processions in different cities to celebrate the arrival of the month of the Holy Prophet's (pbuh) birth.
