Addressing the participants of a training workshop on the topic of modern research methods held under the banner of Nizam ul Madaris Pakistan, master trainers and scholars said that using the internet for research purposes and avoiding plagiarism constitute major challenges in terms of research and academic writing. Equipping the students and teachers of religious seminaries with modern research tools is among the foremost academic targets of Nizam ul Madaris Pakistan. In the same way, the promotion of religious sciences in line with the contemporary requirements is the responsibility of religious seminaries.
Allama Mir Asif Akbar, General Secretary Nizam-ul-Madaris, spoke about the aims and objectives of holding a training workshop and said that the process of training would continue in every department. Allama Ain-ul-Haq Baghdadi, Nazim examination, said that education and research are the identity of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan and the integral part of its academic policy.
Dr Shafaqat Ali Baghdadi, Dr Faizullah Baghdadi and Dr Ajmal Ali Mujadadi delivered special lectures on the modern research methods in the workshop.
Allama Ainul-ul-Haq Baghdadi further said that Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, patron of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan has given the direction that the teachers, examiners and managers of religious seminaries should be imparted training to equip them with modern methods of conducting research and it is for this reason that training sessions are being conducted regularly.
In his lecture Dr Ajmal Mujdadi delivered a talk on the use of computer and software as part of research. He said that thousands of books are available on the internet, adding that it is important to use them as reference and at the same time it is equally important that plagiarism of any kind is avoided. He said that plagiarism is considered an offence, which raises serious questions on the personality of scholar and integrity of his research.
On this occasion, a discussion took place on the use of zoomlink to establish effective mode of academic coordination between the students and teachers and the use of various devices for this purpose.
Hundreds of teachers and students of senior classes attended the workshop online. The participants also included female teachers scholars and students.
