The greatest of miracles in sainthood is knowledge. The hearts of the saints and friends of Allah are purified, and clean and imbued with the passion for the acquisition of knowledge. True knowledge drives away narrowness of every kind.
Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri, the grandson of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and an emerging scholar, made these remarks while addressing a Ghous-ul-Azam Conference in Jame al-Mustafa in Canadian city of Mississauga.
Shaykh Hammad said that the hearts of the beloved people of Allah are as vast as oceans due to their deep and abiding love for learning and knowledge. He said that one of the biggest miracles of Sayyiduna Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA) was his knowledge. He was the greatest Sufi and scholar par excellence of his time. He transferred his wealth of knowledge to the succeeding generations. His sons, grandsons, and all those associated with him were distinguished personalities due to their mastery of knowledge.
Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri said that the friends of Allah Almighty spread the fragrance of affection, love and positivity around them. He said that if we want to benefit from their blessed life, then we should resort to their books and other sources of knowledge for our learning.
