Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, along with a delegation, met with Agha Ali Asghar Moghari, Deputy Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lahore, and Agha Mehran Movahedfar, the Consul General of Iran in Lahore.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur expressed his condolences to the Deputy Consul General of Iran over the tragic helicopter accident that resulted in the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his associates.
On this occasion, Director of Khana-e-Farhang Dr. Asghar Masoodi and former Director Agha Jafar Ronas were also present. The delegation included Director of Diplomatic Relations of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Suhail Ahmad Raza, Aurangzeb Raza Khan, and Hafeez-ur-Rehman Khan. Khurram Nawaz Gandapur also recorded his thoughts in the guest book.
He stated that in this difficult and sorrowful time, every Pakistani stands with the Iranian government and people. The passing of President Ebrahim Raisi is a great loss not only for Iran but for the entire Muslim Ummah. We share the grief and sorrow with the people of the brotherly Islamic country of Iran in this moment of mourning.
