Trade leaders call on PAT Secretary General

Meeting of business leaders with Khurram Nawaz Gandapur at MQi Secretariat

Young trade leaders and business persons from various markets in Lahore met with the Secretary-General of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, at the central secretariat in Model Town. The Central Coordinator of Awami Traders Union, Altaf Hussain Randhawa, was also present on the occasion. During the meeting, the leaders discussed in detail the issues facing the trader community.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur emphasized that the protection of traders and industrialists and resolving their issues should be the top priority for economic stability. He highlighted the necessity of addressing all the problems that hinder commercial development. He stated that policymakers need to recognize that to tackle the many economic issues and internal and external challenges the country faces; the problems of the trader community must be resolved first, as they are the backbone and engine of growth for the economy.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur stressed the importance of providing traders with an excellent business environment for commercial and economic growth. The determination and courage of traders are crucial for achieving economic goals, he added.

In the meeting, young trade leaders offered suggestions for improving the economy. They noted that prosperity will prevail where there is peace, love, and brotherhood. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has always promoted the message of peace, love, and brotherhood. They lauded him for presenting the peaceful face of Islam to the world, including Pakistan.
