Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, the founder and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, in his special message to the Muslim Ummah on the commencement of the blessed month of Rabi' al-Awwal, has said that the beginning of the holy month of the Prophet's (PBUH) birth brings a sense of joy and happiness to the entire Muslim world. He said that the workers and affiliates of Minhaj-ul-Quran should organize Mawlid-un-Nabi (PBUH) gatherings worldwide, spreading the message of peace, security, and respect for humanity.

There is no greater joy in the universe than the birth of the Prophet (PBUH), he said.

As soon as the month of Rabi' al-Awwal began, the Minhaj-ul-Quran Central Secretariat was lit up and adorned with electric lights. Gosha-e-Durood, Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam, Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan, and adjoining buildings and streets were illuminated with vibrant lights. A special illumination was also done at the residence of Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The atmosphere around Minhaj-ul-Quran’s Central Secretariat, as well as its adjoining buildings and streets, was filled with various colors of lights to celebrate the arrival of the light of the universe, the mercy for all the worlds, Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The air is echoing with the sounds of Durood and Salaam (praise and blessings upon the Holy Prophet (PBUH)). Gatherings of praise and Milad feasts have also begun at Minhaj-ul-Quran Secretariat and Gosha-e-Durood, where scholars are speaking about the greatness and dignity of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, MQI Secretary-General, while congratulating the Muslim Ummah on the arrival of Rabi' al-Awwal, said that Allah Almighty has commanded us in the Holy Quran to celebrate the occasion of the arrival of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in this world. He said Minhaj-ul-Quran is promoting a culture of expressing love and devotion to the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
