International Milad Conference.
Governor Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, will be the special guest at Minhaj-ul-Quran’s 41st International Milad Conference, which will be held at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore. Under the leadership of Secretary-General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, 36 organizational and invitation committees have been established to invite scholars from different schools of thought.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will address the conference, and Arab scholars will also participate and deliver speeches.
Noorullah Siddiqui has been appointed head of the media committee, with Abdul Hafeez Chaudhry as secretary. More than 300 volunteers from Minhaj Youth League and Mustafavi Students Movement will be responsible for security arrangements.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur stated that on the night of August 16, the stage at Minar-e-Pakistan will present an exceptional scene of unity, inter-sect harmony, and interfaith tolerance.
He further mentioned that a month prior, a written request was submitted to the Deputy Commissioner, PHA, and civil administration for permission to hold the International Milad Conference at Minar-e-Pakistan. He emphasized that they have always adhered to legal protocols and SOPs, and he is hopeful that the civil administration will cooperate in organizing the International Milad Conference in celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He assured that Minhaj-ul-Quran will also fully cooperate with the authorities.
