Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, paid a special visit to Jamia Haqqania Akora Khattak on invitation, where he delivered a lecture to thousands of senior students on the Charter of Madinah and the importance of education. In his lecture, he emphasized that in theological debates, it is crucial to remember that we are all followers of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), and the source of all knowledge and wisdom for us is the Holy Quran.

Upon his arrival in Akora Khattak, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Qadri was warmly welcomed by Maulana Hamid-ul-Haq Haqqani, son of the late Maulana Sami-ul-Haq, along with Maulana Rashid-ul-Haq Haqqani and other senior officials of the institution. Accompanying Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri were Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Secretary-General of Minhaj-ul-Quran, and Deputy Secretary-General Chaudhry Irfan Yousaf.

Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri stated that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a mercy for all of mankind and was sent by Allah Almighty with the highest moral character. The Prophet (PBUH) never harbored hatred towards anyone throughout his life, and we should follow his example by not closing our doors to others. He said that it has been the tradition of scholars and saints to spread knowledge and train others through their moral conduct, teachings, and pure companionship, always conveying the truth.

Discussing his book "The Constitution of Madinah and the Concept of a Welfare State," Dr. Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said the main objective is to make every individual of the Ummah aware that the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) established the state of Madinah, providing the world with a perfect and practical system of governance. The state of Madinah, he said, was a true welfare state where all minorities were safe and content. The Prophet (PBUH) introduced modern systems of justice, policing, treasury management, taxation, and defense. We can confidently say that today's advanced and prosperous Western countries have not moved beyond the model of the state of Madinah.

He said that young scholars should proudly express that Islam is a complete way of life, equipped to meet the political, social, economic, intellectual, and academic needs of humanity until the Day of Judgment. He further emphasized that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has always advocated for the unity of the Ummah. Sectarianism and secondary differences are not only damaging the unity of the Ummah but also harming Pakistan's Islamic identity. All religious institutions and scholars should unite to confront the negative forces that are threatening national cohesion, he said.

On this occasion, Maulana Luqman-ul-Haq Haqqani, Irfan-ul-Haq Haqqani, Maulana Syed Yousaf Shah, Mufti Muhammad Faheem, Tariq Qadri, Niaz Shah, Khawaja Kazim, Fazal Ghani, Hafiz Israr, and teachers and students of the institution were present.
