A meeting of Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore was held at the central secretariat. Deputy Secretary General Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees attended the meeting as a special guest. The session was presided over by Professor Zulfiqar Ali, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore. The meeting was attended by Lahore’s Secretary Amjad Hussain Chaudhry, district officials, PP (Provincial Parliament) presidents, secretaries, and workers.
Addressing the meeting, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees Qadri stated that adopting the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and the life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ as a core part of one's life is a sacred mission for every Muslim. Through this, a person not only achieves spiritual growth but also contributes to making the world a better place by playing a constructive social role. This connection draws a person closer to Allah, paving the way for success in both this life and the hereafter.
He emphasized that the most effective method of preaching the religion is through exemplary moral conduct and a sincere attitude of goodwill. He said that Minhaj-ul-Quran workers should convey the message of love, service, and sincerity to the public. The Halaqat-e-Durood (spiritual gatherings) are not merely religious assemblies but a means for inner purification and intellectual development. He stressed the need to promote the understanding of religion in every Union Council of Lahore through the lessons of Irfan-ul-Qur’an. The public outreach campaign should be advanced with an organized and strategic approach to ensure that the mission’s message reaches every individual.
President Lahore Professor Zulfiqar Ali, in his address, said that Minhaj-ul-Quran’s intellectual and organizational journey is now entering a new dimension at the public level. "Each of our workers is like a lamp that must spread light within their sphere of influence. We are planning thoroughly to reach every area, ward, and union council of Lahore. The officials and workers must treat their responsibilities as a duty — this is the message of Sheikh-ul-Islam Professor Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri," he said.
Lahore Secretary Amjad Hussain Chaudhry thanked all officials and described the success of the meeting as a foundation for better future planning. The session concluded with detailed discussions and important decisions regarding Halaqat-e-Durood, Duroos Irfan-ul-Qur’an, and the ongoing public outreach campaign in Lahore.
