Engineer Muhammad Rafiq Najm, Deputy Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, said that MQI is actively engaged in the noble mission of spreading Islam worldwide, reforming the Muslim Ummah, and serving humanity. He said that under the leadership of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, this movement is carrying out the duty of spreading the light of faith, knowledge, and action.
He stated that Islam is not just a collection of rituals, but also a complete way of life that provides guidance for every aspect of individual and collective life. The goal of Minhaj-ul-Quran is to spread this comprehensive understanding of Islam and raise awareness among every individual about worshiping Allah and serving His creation.
He expressed these views while addressing a meeting of Minhaj-ul-Quran Sargodha. The meeting was chaired by senior leader Professor Suleman Khan. Engineer Rafiq Najm further mentioned that Minhaj-ul-Quran has established hundreds of institutions to promote the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah, where a harmonious blend of modern and religious education is offered. Through Quranic courses, training workshops, and spiritual gatherings, the movement is creating moral, spiritual, and intellectual awareness in society.
Engineer Rafiq Najam further said that in today’s turbulent times, where materialism has distanced people from God, Minhaj-ul-Quran has become a strong means of bringing people closer to Allah. Reforming beliefs, worship, ethics, and dealings is our core objective. He emphasized that every member of Minhaj-ul-Quran presents themselves as a servant of Islam, with a commitment to transforming hatred into love and ignorance into knowledge.
Engineer Najm also noted that alongside its service to Islam, Minhaj-ul-Quran has played a significant role in promoting interfaith tolerance, global peace, human rights, and the advancement of knowledge and research. This movement is not only presenting the true, bright, and human-friendly face of Islam in Pakistan but across the world.
He urged the workers to enhance their intellectual, practical, and ethical capabilities and to spread the message of Minhaj-ul-Quran to every home and heart. Serving Islam is a form of worship, and sacrifice, patience, and perseverance are essential on this path. He said that each member of Minhaj-ul-Quran is a beacon spreading the fragrance of faith, love, knowledge, and service in society. We must demonstrate through our character and actions that Islam is a religion of peace, love, and humanity.
The meeting was attended by a large number of leaders and workers, including Dr. Zafar Ali Naz, Allama Chishti Qasim Ali Farooqi, Muhammad Idris Mughal, Hakim Zafar Iqbal, and others.
