Following the Quran Is the True Path to Success: Allama Rana Idrees

Rana Idrees Qadri Addressing Khutba Jummah in Jamia Shaykh ul islam

Addressing the Friday congregation at Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam, Model Town, Lahore, Deputy Secretary-General of Minhaj-ul-Quran, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees emphasized that the Holy Qur’an is the final divine book from Allah, offering complete guidance, success, and prosperity for humanity until the end of time. He said the Qur’an is a light that illuminates the path amid darkness. True success in both this world and the Hereafter lies in understanding the Qur’an, acting upon it, and living life in accordance with its teachings.

He stated that Allah has described the Qur’an as Dhikr (remembrance), Noor (light), Shifa (healing), and Hidayah (guidance). Citing the Qur’an, he said:

“The Qur’an guides to that which is most upright and gives glad tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward.”

Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees added that the Qur’an is not only a source of spiritual guidance but also a practical roadmap to success. He stressed that individual, collective, social, and moral reform is impossible without the Qur’an. Whenever Muslims remained connected to the Qur’an, they experienced progress and prosperity.

He further stated that if we desire success in this life and the Hereafter, we must establish a true relationship with the Qur’an. It is not merely a sacred book, but a complete code of life. In today's world, surrounded by trials and chaos, only the Qur’an can be the ship that sails us safely through the storms toward the shore of salvation. The Holy Qur’an is a pure source of guidance for all of humanity.

Allama Rana Idrees highlighted that today's humanity is suffering from intellectual confusion and moral decline, and the primary reason for this is our distance from the Qur’an. We must align our lives, decisions, and conduct with the teachings of the Qur’an in order to attain well-being in this world and the next.

He stressed the urgent need to connect the younger generation with the Qur’an. If we fail to educate our children about Qur’anic understanding, translation, interpretation, and practice today, tomorrow's society will plunge even deeper into darkness. He appealed to parents, teachers, and scholars to spread the message of “Understanding the Qur’an” so that every individual becomes familiar with its guidance and implements it in their practical life.

Rana Idrees concluded by saying that adherence to the Qur’an leads to personal reform, collective awakening, and spiritual elevation. As an Ummah, we must reconnect with the Qur’an, bringing our actions, intentions, and social behavior under its guidance to attain true success in both worlds.
