Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri has always raised the banner of love, unity, and peace: Allama Dr. Mir Asif Akbar
A “National Defense and Unity Conference” was organized by Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan and the Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulema Council. The conference was presided over by Allama Dr. Mir Asif Akbar, the Chief Administrator of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan. The chief guests were Allama Imtiaz Ahmed Siddiqui, Chairman of the Ulema and Mashaikh Council of Azad Kashmir, and Mufti Ghulam Asghar Siddiqui, Central President of the Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulema Council.
In his address, Allama Dr. Mir Asif Akbar Qadri emphasized that unity, brotherhood, and fraternity are the core messages of Islam, and it is the foremost duty of scholars to revive these values in today’s era of chaos and division. He added that Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan plays a vital role in religious and national training, and its graduates are serving in important sectors including the army, banking, and education.
Allama Imtiaz Siddiqui stated that enemies have tried their best to weaken the national defense, but Pakistan’s strong military and spiritual foundation have thwarted every conspiracy. He highlighted that at a time when the world was promoting division, hatred, and chaos, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri presented a message of love, unity, and national harmony.
Mufti Nazir Ahmed Qadri, Director of Religious Affairs, noted that when no one was ready to speak against the interest-based financial system, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri presented a comprehensive concept of Islamic economy at Mochi Gate, Lahore. He said Dr. Qadri’s contributions to the defense of Islam and Pakistan are unforgettable.
Allama Ain-ul-Haq Baghdadi, Controller of Examinations at Nizam-ul-Madaris, remarked that international anti-Islamic organizations seek to weaken us by sowing discord. He urged scholars to use pulpits to promote national unity rather than discord. He also briefed participants on a visit to the Pakistan Military Academy, stating that the leadership of the Pakistan Army is nurtured on a religious foundation, with religious education and training being integral to its system.
The conference was held in Neelum District, Jura (Azad Kashmir). Other speakers included Supreme Court Advocate Sharafat Mir, Pir Javed Abdul Manan, Pir Tanveer Abdul Manan (Dar-ul-Zikr Muzaffarabad), Mufti Riaz Ahmed Noorani, President Minhaj Ulema Council Neelum Division Allama Farooq Abdullah, Coordinator of Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan Neelum Division Qari Zafar Iqbal, Allama Rafiq Randhawa, and General Secretary of the Central Bar Council Azad Kashmir Taufiq Ahmed.
Central Nazim of Minhaj Ulema Council, Allama Ashfaq Chishti, performed the duties of stage secretary and introduced participants to the message of national unity. A large number of scholars, spiritual leaders, lawyers, teachers, students, and members of the public attended the conference. At the end of the event, certificates were distributed among students of Jamia Ghausia Taleem-ul-Quran, followed by special prayers for national security and unity of the Muslim Ummah.
