Pakistan's Nuclear Program Is a Credit to the Entire Nation: Khurram Nawaz Gandapur

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, said that Pakistan’s nuclear program is not the achievement of any single party or government—it is the collective credit of the entire nation. The people sacrificed their own needs and provided resources for this program. It is because of this nuclear capability that Pakistan today is secure and its defense is invincible.

He emphasized that minorities have played a vital role in Pakistan’s development, the promotion of education, and the country's defense. The foundation of the nuclear program was laid in the 1950s during the tenure of Prime Minister Muhammad Ali Bogra. Everyone who contributed to this program deserves the nation’s tribute and appreciation.

Khurram Gandapur stated that modern education and technology are essential for any future. Nations do not gain respect through roads or tall buildings, but through knowledge and education.

He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held at the Chamber of Commerce titled “Pakistan Belongs to All of Us.”

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur highlighted that by promoting online education, educational equality can be established nationwide. He said the strength of Pakistan lies in unity and solidarity. Every ideology that promotes hatred and violence must be defeated. The enemy tries to fragment national unity through the weapon of division and discord.

The MQI Secretary General praised Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri for founding educational institutions where students from all schools of thought, including minorities, are receiving education. These institutions should spread the message of love and unity.

He also congratulated the Pakistan Armed Forces on their successful defense of the country, stating, “No army can be defeated when its nation stands behind it like a wall of steel.”

He expressed gratitude to the Lahore Chamber of Commerce for the invitation and hospitality, emphasizing that national institutions, social organizations, and the business community must work together to lead the country out of crises.

Khurram Gandapur extended special thanks to President of Lahore Chamber of Commerce Abu Zar Shad, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, and Sardar Bishan Singh for organizing the impressive event. Sohail Ahmad Raza, Shehzad Ahmad Khan, and Aurangzeb Raza were also present on the occasion.
