President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore, Professor Muhammad Iqbal Bajwa, and Lahore Secretary, Ali Rehmat, met with Deputy Secretary-General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees Qadri, at the central secretariat. Qari Riyasat Ali Chadhar also attended the meeting.

Speaking to the leadership of Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees Qadri stated that Minhaj-ul-Quran is a global movement for the unity of the Muslim Ummah, which is spreading the true spirit of the religion of Muhammad ﷺ beyond sectarian lines, both in Pakistan and around the world. He said the mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran is to eliminate sectarianism.

He said that under the guidance of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Minhaj-ul-Quran has undertaken a scholarly, ideological, and intellectual struggle that has promoted peace, brotherhood, and unity in society, he added.

He noted that the main reasons for the crises faced by the Muslim Ummah today are internal hatred, prejudices, and sectarian conflicts. These problems can only be resolved by uniting the Ummah under the original teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah. Minhaj-ul-Quran is taking practical steps to bring together all schools of thought onto a common platform to promote inter-sectarian harmony, so the dream of a peaceful, stable, and united Ummah can be realized.

“The message of the Qur’an and Sunnah is love, tolerance, and unity. We must abandon narrow-mindedness, hatred, and prejudice,” he emphasized.

Speaking on this occasion, Professor Muhammad Iqbal Bajwa, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore, said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has given the world a message of love, peace, knowledge, and awareness. Minhaj-ul-Quran is a movement for societal reform, awareness, knowledge, action, and unity among Muslims.

He added that spreading Minhaj-ul-Quran’s positive message to youth, students, scholars, women, and the general public in Lahore is a top priority. “Islam is a religion of peace, love, tolerance, and brotherhood. The core objective of Minhaj-ul-Quran's entire struggle is the unity of the Ummah, inter-sect harmony, and the promotion of Islam’s peaceful teachings. Our mission is to spread love, tolerance, knowledge, and brotherhood.”

The meeting also included consultations on district- and constituency-level organizational structuring, membership campaigns, public outreach efforts, and transforming the movement into a stronger ideological and organizational force.
