Minhaj Welfare Foundation Flood Relief Activities Pakistan 2025

Director of Operations of Minhaj Welfare Foundation, Engineer Sanaullah Khan, said that the recent floods in various parts of the country have affected thousands of families. Due to heavy rains and overflowing rivers, many areas have been submerged, houses destroyed, and standing crops ruined. The loss of hundreds of precious lives has saddened the entire nation.

He said that relief activities of Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) are continuing at a rapid pace in the affected areas. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa districts including Buner, Swat, Shangla, Lower Dir, Bajaur, as well as Gilgit, Skardu, Kashmir, and Mansehra, volunteers of MWF are rescuing stranded people from remote areas and shifting them to safe places. Dozens of temporary relief camps have been established where tents, clean drinking water, ration packs, and clothes are being provided to the victims.

He added that in this emergency situation, Minhaj Welfare Foundation immediately launched its relief operation. Cooked meals are being provided in the affected districts, and medicines are being supplied to give immediate support to the victims.

Deputy Director of MWF, Ishtiaq Hanif Mughal, said that the distribution of food items, milk, essential supplies for children, and medicines is ongoing in flood-affected areas. He further informed that, considering the shortage of medical facilities, MWF will establish medical units in the next phase, where treatment will be provided to the affected people.

He emphasized that the rehabilitation of victims will be carried out in phases, and no affected family will be left alone. Volunteers of Minhaj Welfare Foundation are present day and night in Buner, Swat, Shangla, Lower Dir, Bajaur, and Mansehra, working side by side with the local population.
