The maternal uncle of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and the father of Dr. Ali Waqar Qadri, a renowned religious scholar and Director of Minhaj Education Society, Haji Muhammad Shafi, has passed away and returned to his Creator.
His funeral prayer was offered yesterday in his native city of Jhang, and was led by his son, Dr. Ali Waqar Qadri. A large number of Minhaj-ul-Quran leaders, office bearers, and members participated in the funeral prayer.
Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri, Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, deputy secretaries-general, and heads of various forums expressed heartfelt condolences on the passing of Shaykh-ul-Islam’s uncle and Dr. Ali Waqar Qadri’s respected father.
They prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased and the elevation of his spiritual ranks.
