Shaykh-ul-Islam Addresses Majlis-e-Shura; Speaks on the Importance and Need for Knowledge
25,000 Knowledge Centers to Be Established in the Next 10 Years, Says Founder and Patron-in-Chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran
Dr. Hassan Qadri and Dr. Hussain Qadri Also Address the Shura Meeting

Founder and Patron-in-Chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, addressed the central Majlis-e-Shura session and said that the martyrs of the Model Town tragedy are still awaiting judicial verdicts. The legal proceedings are underway in accordance with the law, and it is now the court’s prerogative to render its judgment. He said that every single day over the past twelve years has been spent caring for the families of the martyrs; they were never left alone, and such commitment is unparalleled.
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri stated that Pakistan’s bright future is tied to knowledge and technology—there is no shortcut to progress. Minhaj-ul-Quran has set a target to establish 25,000 knowledge centers in the next ten years, and, Insha’Allah, this seemingly impossible goal will be achieved. He said that his entire focus is on building the moral and ethical character of the youth. The positive use of social media leads to goodness, while its negative use leads to chaos. Today’s youth are aware and capable of distinguishing right from wrong. Promoting moderation and tolerance is both a religious and humanitarian necessity.
Addressing the session, Chairman of the Supreme Council Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Minhaj-ul-Quran’s mission and narrative are centered on the promotion of knowledge, moderation, and balance.
President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, in his remarks, briefed the participants on the recent achievements of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Minhaj University. He said that Minhaj-ul-Quran’s moderate and balanced ideology is being recognized globally, which stands as testimony to the intellectual and scholarly strength of the movement.
Earlier, Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Deputy Secretary General (Organizational Affairs) Engineer Rafiq Najm, and Director of Social Media Abdul Sattar Minhajian presented comprehensive briefings on organizational performance and the social media strategy.
The meeting was attended by senior administrators and members of the Central Majlis-e-Shura.
