Dr. Khurram Shehzad, Registrar of Minhaj University Lahore, has been appointed as the Convener of the Standing Committee on Higher Education of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) for the years 2025 and 2026. A formal notification to this effect was issued yesterday.
While entrusting him with this responsibility, the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry expressed confidence that the education expert, Dr. Khurram Shehzad, will play an effective role in fostering meaningful dialogue between higher education institutions and the business community.
The Chamber further expressed hope that he will contribute to policy formulation, enabling the Chamber to develop strategies that create maximum employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for educated youth, while also equipping them with practical skills.
Dr. Khurram Shehzad thanked the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry for this confidence and stated that, God willing, he will work closely with the Chamber’s leadership to establish a dynamic and productive linkage between the education sector and the industrial sector.
He added that this collaboration will help empower the younger generation to contribute to the economic stability of the country as entrepreneurs and skilled professionals.
