World-Renowned Qaris Participate in Event Organized by
Tahfeez-ul-Quran Institute
Speakers Pay Tribute to the Scholarly and Research Services of Shaykh-ul-Islam

The eighth Annual National Mehfil-e-Husn-e-Qira’at (Qur’anic Recitation Gathering) was held at Aghosh Complex Lahore under the auspices of the Tahfeez-ul-Quran Institute, a subsidiary institution of Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran. The spiritually uplifting event was attended by students, teachers, and staff of Minhaj Institute for Qira’at and Tahfeez-ul-Quran Lahore, Aghosh Orphan Care Home, and Aghosh Grammar School.
Internationally renowned Qaris recited the Holy Qur’an in their melodious and moving voices, creating an atmosphere filled with spiritual inspiration and devotion. The distinguished reciters included Qari Dr. Muhammad Afzal Amani, Qari Zeeshan Hanif Qadri, Qari Muhammad Owais Asghar Qadri, Qari Khizar Zeeshan Naeemi, and Qari Inamullah Naeemi.
Addressing the gathering, Principal of Tahfeez-ul-Quran, Muhammad Abbas Naqshbandi, stated that correct recitation of the Holy Qur’an, mastery of Tajweed, and beautiful vocal delivery not only enhance the beauty of worship but also strengthen one’s heartfelt connection with the Qur’an.
Director of Aghosh Complex, Colonel (R) Mubashir Iqbal, emphasized that promoting Qur’anic teachings among the younger generation and raising standards of Tajweed and Qira’at are urgent needs of the time.
The speakers paid rich tribute to the religious, scholarly, and research contributions of the founder and patron-in-chief of Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran, Shaykh-ul-Islam Professor Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. They stated that his life is devoted to the service of the Qur’an and Sunnah, the promotion of knowledge, and the intellectual and moral development of the youth.
Among those who attended the ceremony were Vice Principal Qari Syed Khalid Hameed Kazmi Al-Azhari, Raja Zahid Mahmood Qadri, Sohail Ahmad Raza, Haji Muhammad Saleem Qadri, Haji Muhammad Ilyas, Sahibzada Hamid Mustafa Qadri, Prof. Dr. Mumtaz-ul-Hasan Barvi, Dr. Shafqat Ali Baghdadi, Dr. Faizullah Baghdadi, Muhammad Altaf Randhawa, Muhammad Naveed Butt, Rana Manzoor Hussain, Chaudhry Muhammad Afzal Gujjar, Malik Ahmad Akhwan, Shamim Ahmad Numberdar, Sobay Khan, Captain Muhammad Ramzan, Muhammad Bashir Jan, Hafiz Muhammad Waqar, Muhammad Sanaullah, and Muhammad Ilyas Dogar, along with central leaders of Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran, prominent personalities, and social figures.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, students of the Tahfeez-ul-Quran Institute cut a cake to mark the 75th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, expressing their love, devotion, and affiliation with him.
