On the occasion of International Women's Day, Lubna Mushtaq, Head of the Coordination Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League, said in her statement that women play a fundamental role in the development, stability, and positive transformation of any society.
She said that Islam has granted women a status of dignity, honor, and social respect that stands as a unique example in human history. In today’s era, it is essential that women utilize their abilities and actively contribute to social development and the promotion of moral values.
Lubna Mushtaq stated that Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League has been serving effectively for several decades in the intellectual, moral, and educational development of women. Through this platform, women are being introduced to the true teachings of Islam, their social awareness is being enhanced, and they are being provided with opportunities to play a constructive role in society.
She added that the forum has become an effective platform for character building, training, and humanitarian service among women.
She further said that International Women's Day reminds us that ensuring women’s education and protection is a shared responsibility of society. If women are provided with knowledge, awareness, and opportunities, they can play a significant role in the progress of families, society, and the state.
Lubna Mushtaq concluded by saying that Islam views women as dignified and capable citizens and encourages them to play a positive role in society. She emphasized that Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League will continue its efforts for the intellectual and moral development of women and for social service so that the formation of a conscious, civilized, and balanced society becomes possible.
