Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri Expresses Condolences on the Passing of Sheikh Muhammad Qasim

The founding leader and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of senior leader and long-time associate of the movement, Sheikh Muhammad Qasim (Noori Hall, Johar Town).

In his condolence message, he stated that Sheikh Muhammad Qasim’s services to the Prophetic mission were highly commendable. He described him as a leader of Minhaj-ul-Quran who possessed excellent character, simplicity, and a warm, sociable personality. He added that his contributions to the mission would always be remembered.

He prayed that Almighty Allah elevates the ranks of the deceased, grants him forgiveness and mercy, and bestows patience and strength upon the bereaved family to endure this loss.

Chairman of the Supreme Council, Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, and other leaders also expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Sheikh Muhammad Qasim, praying for his forgiveness, mercy, and elevatedhis station.

Meanwhile, the funeral prayer of the deceased was offered at Jamia Masjid Allah Wali, Karim Block, Lahore. A large number of central, provincial, and district leaders, along with officials of the Lahore organization, attended the funeral. Among those present were Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, G.M. Malik, Haji Muhammad Ishaq, Haji Muhammad Saleem Qadri, Allama Ashfaq Ali Chishti, Shahzad Rasool Qadri, Iqbal Hussain Bajwa, Amjad Ali Shah, Sardar Fatahullah Khan, Haji Muhammad Ilyas Qadri, Shamim Numberdar, Yasir Khan, Hafeezullah Javed, and others.

The leaders also conveyed the condolence message of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, and Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri to the bereaved family.
