“His demise is a great loss for his family and devotees,” says Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri
The founder and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of the renowned spiritual figure, Pir Syed Mehr Fareed-ul-Haq Gilani, the elder son of Pir Syed Moeen-ul-Haq Gilani, the sajjada nashin (custodian) of the shrine of Golra Sharif Shrine.
In his condolence message, he stated that the demise of Pir Mehr Fareed-ul-Haq Gilani (late) is a profound loss. He prayed that Allah Almighty grant patience and strength to every member of the esteemed family of Golra Sharif. He also prayed for fortitude for Pir Syed Moeen-ul-Haq Gilani, the entire family, the children of the deceased, and his followers and devotees.
He added that with the passing of Pir Mehr Fareed-ul-Haq Gilani, the country has been deprived of a pious, dignified, and exemplary spiritual personality. Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri prayed for the forgiveness, elevated ranks, and eternal peace of the departed soul, and for patience for his family, disciples, followers, and associates.
Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, and President Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri also expressed deep grief over the passing of Pir Syed Mehr Fareed-ul-Haq Gilani. They stated that his demise is a great loss for the Muslim Ummah, his family, and devotees. They paid tribute to his scholarly, religious, and social services and prayed that Allah Almighty grant him the highest station in Jannat-ul-Firdous.
Meanwhile, Secretary General of Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, along with Dr. Mir Muhammad Asif Akbar, Ghulam Asghar Siddiqui, Muhammad Ashfaq Chishti, and other leaders, also expressed sorrow over his passing and prayed for the elevation of his ranks and patience for the bereaved family.
