Prof Dr Hussain Mohi ud Din Qadri Meets Parliamentary Delegation

A delegation comprising minority ministers and members of provincial assemblies from Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa paid a special visit to Minhaj University Lahore. The delegation included Deputy Speaker of the Sindh Assembly Anthony Naveed Sahotra, provincial ministers, members of parliament, and prominent religious and social personalities.

The delegation was received by Deputy Chairman Board of Governors Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, and the university administration.

During the visit, the guests toured various research centers of the university, particularly the School of Peace, where they highly appreciated the curriculum on interfaith tolerance and comparative religion.

Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly Anthony Naveed Sahotra stated that he deeply admired the efforts of Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in promoting peace and interfaith harmony. He said that Minhaj-ul-Quran International has always respected minorities, provided them representation, and played a vital role in fostering social tolerance.

On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri highlighted the university’s academic and research contributions and offered to assist the Sindh Government in developing a curriculum based on peace, tolerance, and social harmony. He also presented copies of his book on interfaith tolerance to members of the delegation.
