Addressing the conference, Allama Dr. Mir Muhammad Asif Akbar Qadri stated that Hazrat Usman Ghani (RA) was among the most distinguished personalities in Islamic history, whose life was a practical embodiment of sacrifice, generosity, modesty, piety, and devotion to the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He embraced Islam in its earliest days and earned a distinguished status among the people of Makkah due to his generosity, honesty, and exemplary character.

Speaking on the occasion, Allama Mufti Ghulam Asghar Siddiqui said that Hazrat Usman Ghani (RA) was uniquely honored with the title “Dhul-Nurayn” (The Possessor of Two Lights) because he was blessed with marriage to two daughters of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. Referring to the noble status of Hazrat Uthman (RA), he quoted the saying of the Prophet ﷺ:

“Should I not feel modesty before a man before whom even the angels feel modesty?”

He further stated that Hazrat Usman (RA) demonstrated unparalleled generosity on numerous occasions, including the Expedition of Tabuk, dedicating his wealth and resources for the advancement and strengthening of Islam. His period of caliphate, he said, remains a shining chapter characterized by patience, wisdom, justice, and service to the faith.

Mufti Ghulam Asghar Siddiqui added that the life of Hazrat Usman Ghani (RA) teaches the Muslim Ummah the values of modesty, generosity, patience, unity, and attachment to the Holy Qur’an. He announced that “Youm-e-Shahadat Sayyiduna Usman Ghani (RA)” would be observed nationwide on Friday under the auspices of Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulama Council and Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan.

At the conclusion of the conference, the participating scholars reaffirmed their commitment to utilizing mosques, pulpits, and religious platforms effectively to counter sectarianism, extremism, terrorism, and intolerance. They also pledged to strengthen the unity and solidarity of the Muslim Ummah by promoting respect and reverence for the Companions of the Prophet (RA), the Ahl al-Bayt (RA), and all sacred symbols and personalities of Islam.
