Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the character-building of the nation is the foremost responsibility of both the political and religious leadership. He said that society's betterment lies in getting rid of the system that refuses to differentiate between the good and bad. He said the of the biggest crises facing us is moral decay. He said there is hardly anything to distinguish between truth and falsehood and greed and lust have taken the place of moral values. He asked the religious scholars and the youth to highlight the real teachings of Islam through social media.
A prayer ceremony and Quran khawani for the late sister of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was held at Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam in Lahore. Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Vice-President MQI Brig. Amir Jamat-i-Islami Senator Siraj-ul-Haq and Allama Dr Raghib Hussain Naeemi visited the central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and held a meeting with Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. They expressed their heartfelt condolences to Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri on the sad demise of his elder sister and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and give the bereaved family patience and fortitude to bear the loss.
Addressing a spiritual gathering held at the central secretariat on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the manner in which Allah Almighty made the prophets exalted among the men and Ramadan among other months, He has bestowed the same uniqueness and individuality on Shab-e-Barat among the nights. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that Allah Almighty appears in the heavens on the 15th night of Shaʻban and forgives all of His creations except back-biters and polytheists.
President MWL Pakistan Ms. Farah Naz addressed the webinar on the topic of "The night of repentance", organized by Minhaj Sisters and MWL Europe in connection with Shab e Barat. She said that the 'Shab e Barat' is the night of forgiveness and salvation. MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his profound sorrow and grief on the passing away of Shaykh Muhammad Ali as-Sabuni, renowned religious scholar, academic, and researcher from Syria. Shaykh Sabuni breathed his last in the suburbs of Istanbul in Turkey.

The event to be held online will take up the subject of redesigning the curriculum of the religious seminaries. The senior professors and religious scholars of Madaris from Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Azad Kashmir, Quetta, Okara, Sahiwal, Mandi Bahauddin, and Hyderabad will attend the online conference.
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri inaugurated the Minhaj Welfare Clinic in the PP 153 area of Lahore under the banner of the Minhaj Welfare Foundation. Speaking on the occasion, he said that extending help and assistance to the poor and needy in this day and age is the best form of worship. He said that medical treatment has become very expensive in Pakistan, stating that the poor do not have the capacity to afford medicines and fees of the doctors.
