MQI leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that Allah Almighty gave the power of miracles to His Prophets for the authenticity of their claims. He said that miracles are a manifestation of Allah’s absolute power. He said that the journey of ascension undertaken by the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is the climactic point of all miracles. He said that it is a miracle that initiated the process of opening the closed doors of the universe.
The office holders of KP, Punjab and Sindh chapters of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League called on Dr Ghazala Hassan Qadri, central President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League International and presented the performance reports of their respective regions. A Quran Conference was held on March 31 under the banner of MQI Layyah to mark the inauguration of the Quranic Encyclopedia. MQI Supreme Council Chairman Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri attended the ceremony. Addressing the Conference, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the publication of over 550 works authored by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is a feat of its own kind. He said that if we place all these books on one side and the Quranic Encyclopedia on the other, the scale will be tilted heavily in favor of the Encyclopedia.
Former Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani has said that the whole world acknowledges the scholarly services of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He paid his rich tributes to the MQI patron-in-chief on compiling the Quranic Encyclopedia. He said that the services rendered by his family in the field of education are manifest from Alamdar College and Nishtar Medical College. He said that his relationship with Dr Qadri is that of knowledge and devotion.
The meeting of the PAT Shura has been scheduled on the 5th April. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will preside over the meeting. Addressing a consultative meeting at the central secretariat earlier today, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that we never took law in our hands during our struggle for justice. He said that we always looked up to the judiciary and will continue to demand justice from it till it is delivered.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that it is the first impartial JIT formed in the wake of Model Town tragedy that questioned former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, visited the crime scene and conducted the forensic tests of the bullets and arms used during the police brutality. He said that the last two JIT did not even record the statement of the injured. He said that we are committed to waging this struggle for justice and would continue to do so in the future as well.
The 16th Collective Marriages ceremony for 23 couples was held here in Model Town under the banner of Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF). The scholars of Minhaj Ulama Council solemnized the nikah of the Muslim couples whereas the marriage rites of one Christian couple were performed according to their religious teachings. Every bride was given household stuff of Rs. 2 lacs each. 1500 guests were served food. The brides got ready in a special beauty parlour set up at the central secretariat.

President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri presided over the ceremony and delivered his keynote address.

Chairman of MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that extremism of every kind including religious extremism and terrorism, racism and religious and political sectarianism is a threat to peace and stability of the world. He said that the attitude of the government and the people of New Zealand towards the Muslims is compassionate and humane after the Christchurch tragedy, which will help address the security concerns found among the Muslims after the tragedy.
Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has strongly condemned the incident of terrorism in New Zealand. He said that we are horrified by the scale of tragedy wherein innocent people were massacred in two Mosques in Christchurch. He said that he cannot find words to express the sense of grief and sorrow on the loss of precious lives.
Addressing the ceremony, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the Quranic Encyclopedia is a great scholarly feat of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri on which the Islamic world is proud. He said that such works when carried out in the past were accomplished by teams of 10-15 experts who belonged to different fields. He said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has single-handedly pulled off this feat by researching thousands of subjects.
Minhaj Sisters Dundee and Scottish Islamic Cultural Center Dundee organised a vigil and gathering of Du'a for the martyrs of Al-Nur Masjid New Zealand on the fateful day of 15th March 2019. The program was held at Jami' masjid Bilal's downstairs hall and hosted by Allama Adeel Qasmi.
